About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Syria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and interior fit-out projects, and will be responsible for managing financial records, budgeting, cost control, and reporting in line with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations for fit-out and construction projects

• Prepare project cost reports, budgets, and forecasts

• Monitor expenses and ensure compliance with approved budgets

• Handle accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations

• Work closely with project managers and procurement team to track materials and subcontractor costs

• Ensure compliance with local tax and financial regulations

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
